The Commission of The European Digital Press Association (EDP) awarded Elitron’s Kombo TAV V2, the latest fully automatic cutting system, with best “Wide Format Cutting Solution” 2021 during an online ceremony at the end of January.
Elitron is once again on the podium for innovation and “this recognition again clearly highlights Elitron’s investment in automation and continued commitment to Research & Development, in line with market requirements” comments Paolo Malatesta, Elitron’s Executive Director.
The EDP Technical Committee recognised that the Kombo TAV V2 is the most compact, floor to floor, fully automatic cutting solution for bespoke packaging and displays. The new Kombo TAV V2 is the only system able to load and unload stacks of up to 1555mm of printed and non-printed materials. This extremely versatile, fully automatic, cutting system can be loaded and unloaded from the front end, in-line, or alternatively can be loaded and unloaded from the side, as indicated in the diagram. For sheets up to 3200 x 2200mm, this flexible loading and unloading means that the overall system footprint is kept to a minimum and can fit into production sites where space is critical.
“We are proud that our new, innovative, automatic cutting system is associated with the EDP Technical Committee label of excellence” – declared Giuseppe Gallucci CEO of Elitron – “as this represents yet again proof of the added technological value we continually strive to offer our customers.”
Elitron is once more at the forefront in terms of innovation and automation and thanks the EDP Technical Committee for yet another prestigious award.
